TDEM app 'iSTAT' set to gather Damage Assessment

App to report damages due to Hurricane Beryl in action.

iSTAT is designed to deploy early in a disaster impacted area to gather Initial Damage Assessment information and assess the scope and size of an event impacting residences, businesses and/or agricultural losses. The tool is used on an ongoing basis to certify damage levels in the event of a joint Preliminary Damage Assessment with federal partners.

Local Jurisdictions and designated partners can submit damages on behalf of home and business owners / renters if properties are not self-reported.

To mitigate duplication of efforts, review submitted data in the iSTAT dashboard, sort for your county and search for addresses before making a submission.

Select the appropriate link below to launch the Survey123 Include as many known details beyond the required fields and more than one photo showing damages.

For multiple primary residences on a single property, submit a survey for each and use the Unit # field in the address section to indicate Unit 1, 2, 3…

Contact your TDEM Regional District Coordinator with any questions, to test iSTAT in blue skies, or receive just in time training at the onset of a disaster. See also our public facing iSTAT just in time tutorial.
