Beef and Forage Committee to host educational event

The Colorado County Beef and Forage Committee is pleased to announce their upcoming Beef and Forage 5 Hour Continuing Education Unit Educational Event scheduled for Monday, Feb. 26, 2024. The event will be held at the Colorado County Fairgrounds HE Building located at 1146 Crossroads Blvd., Columbus, Tx 78934.

Registration will be from 8 to 8:30 a.m. prior to the beginning of the program at 8:30 a.m. The event will conclude by 3 p.m. A catered BBQ lunch will be served. The cost of attendance is $30 per person if preregistered by Feb. 21. Registration at the door is $35 per person.

Topics covered at this program will include: Livestock Diseases, Insects, Parasites and Their Control; Strategies for Soil Health; Weed Control in Pastures and Hayfields; TDA Laws and Regulations Update.
