Consul member tours city, gives presentation on Japan

COLUMBUS – On Thursday evening, April 20, the community heard a presentation by Consul A. Saito of the Consulate General of Japan in Houston and his assistant, Kailey Royal.

COLUMBUS – On Thursday evening, April 20, the community heard a presentation by Consul A. Saito of the Consulate General of Japan in Houston and his assistant, Kailey Royal.

Consul Saito’s topic was Japan Today: Challenges, Alliances and Opportunities.

The presentation was held at the Stafford Opera House in the Buddy Rau Room.

Before the presentation, Consul Saito and Royal toured the city to see some of the highlights of Columbus. Some of the places they visited were the Courthouse and Hound Song Brewery.

The event was sponsored by the Nesbitt Memorial Library and AL&M Building Supply.
