BARBARA ANN SMITH WOODS

Barbara Ann Smith Woods was called home unexpectedly on August 10, 2023. She was born August 1,1957 in Lubbock, Texas to Arthur Lee Jones Sr and Ruby Florence Warden.

Barbara lived a full life and on her own terms.Vegas, Fredericksburg, Texas, and Louisiana were her favorite travel destinations and gambling was her favorite pastime.

Even though she never had children of her own, everyone’s child became hers. She loved her family and extended family fiercely.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Kenny Smith. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bryon A. Woods, Stepdaughter Jessica (Chey) Roberts, sister, Susie (John) Dusek, brother, Arthur L. Jones Jr, grandchildren Keyon, Jaycee and Ja’Maria Woods. Nephew Brian (Amber) Miller, Niece Amanda (Corey) Hough, great niece and nephews Brianna (Genaro) Castro, Colton, Raylan Miller, Tyson and Tate Hough, great-great nephew Atlas Castro.An host of many more relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 17, 2023, in the chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
