Bruce LeTulle Bosl passed away into God’s graces Jan. 22. His body was cremated and the memorial service was Friday, Jan. 28 at the First United Methodist Church, Schulenburg.

Bruce was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Columbus to Elizabeth Kathryn Hahn Bosl and Stewart LeTulle Bosl. He married Cynthia Marie Jacobs on Dec. 14, 1974, in Houston.

Bruce was a graduate of Schulenburg High School, an accomplished athlete, and an avid lifelong Shorthorn fan. He had many fond memories of working in the Intracoastal Waterway during his early career. He was a loyal employee at Utex Industries for 39 years.

Bruce and Cindy raised their two sons in Schulenburg, and Bruce was active in their upbringing including coaching little league baseball and serving on the Schulenburg ISD School Board.

His grandchildren, with whom he enjoyed spending time, affectionately knew Bruce as “Bub”. Favorite pastimes included watching sporting events and riding around in a golf cart with his “dude,” grandson Caleb.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cindy, a son Dustin (wife Maurie) Bosl, a son Adam (wife Brandy) Bosl, grandchildren Collin, Camden, Caleb, and Catelyn Bosl, and two foster grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Susan (husband Michael) Ford, one brother, Andy (wife Ginger) Bosl, and a niece and nephew. His parents preceded him in death.
