JEZEK

Patricia Ann “Pat” Jezek, 86, of Columbus, passed away Nov. 18 in Katy.

She was born Aug. 10, 1935 to Nathan L. Goodwin and Bernice (Shaw) Goodwin in Columbus.

Pat worked as a lab tech for many years at Columbus Community Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Columbus.

Pat enjoyed traveling, her cruises, spending time with family and friends, including her dogs. She also loved working in the yard and watching her favorite football teams play on Saturday and Sunday.

Pat is survived by her daughter Joy Lynn Jezek of Columbus; son Paul Jezek and wife Nancy of Magnolia; step-grandchild Gabriella Oren and fiancé Abraham Rapalo; great-grandchild Alyna Rapalo.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Goodwin and Bernice Goodwin; brother Na than L. “Nat” Goodwin, Jr.

Visitation was Tuesday, Nov. 23 at First United Methodist Church in Columbus.

Funeral service was Tuesday, Nov. 23 at First United Methodist Church in Columbus. Pastor Mark Brechin officiated.

Pallbearer was Paul Jezek.

Burial is in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus.
