LARRY S. MILLER

Larry S. Miller of Columbus, Texas passed on Feb. 27, 2023, at his home. Born in 1941, he grew up in Richmond, Indiana, graduating from Richmond Sr. High School in 1959. He worked as a draftsman for Richmond Homes, then enlisted in the Army in 1963, serving until 1968.

A 1969 graduate from Texas Christian University School of Business Management (Accounting), and a CPA, he was employed by J. Arthur Young & Co., Affiliated Capital Corp, and SGF Investment before establishing his own CPA firm in Houston. In 1995 he joined Systems, Painting & Drywall in New Ulm, TX, was elected President in 1997, and retired in 2009.

Mr. Miller was superseded in death by his parents, Frank R. and Helen E. Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Potthast (Scott), granddaughter Lily; daughter, Tricia Crist (Jason), grandchildren Savanna, Hudson, Cassidy, and Hunter; sister, Linda Daly (Don); nieces Sue Schafer and Ann Sorsdahl (Mike), and nephews Steve Schafer and Brad Schafer (Jennifer).
