LESTER LARRY KECH

Lester Larry Kech, 79, of Eagle Lake, Texas, passed away on Jan. 23, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

He was born on July 20, 1944 to John M. Kech and Julia (Krenek) Kech in Columbus, Texas.

Lester was self-employed and owned his own lawn service. He attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus.

Lester enjoyed riding the back roads of New Ulm and Frelsburg, seeing all of the changes taking place over the years.

He is survived by his brother David Kech and wife Barbara of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as family friends Norma Hernandez and Brenda Newton of Eagle Lake.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents John and Julia Kech; sisters Dorothy Noska, Doris Moeller, Mary Ann Moeller, Gwendolyn Genzer and Janet Malinoski; brothers Sam Kech, James Kech, and infant brother John Kech.

A private burial took take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus, Texas.
