LINDA JOYCE CLIMENT MUNOS RODGERS

Linda Joyce Climent Munos Rodgers, 76 of Mentz, Texas passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023, in Columbus, Texas.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1946, to Billy and Effie Climent in Houston, Texas.

Linda worked for an oil field company in Houston, Texas for many years. After living in Houston, she moved to Mentz and started enjoying the country life. She then started working for the Fayetteville Post Office for several years and then made a career change to become a caregiver.

She enjoyed shopping and traveling to the Hill Country. She also loved keeping up her yard with many beautiful colorful flowers.

Linda loved visits from her closest and dearest friends the Guthmann family. She treated them as if they were her family. She had a heart of gold and always cared about others.

She is survived by James and Joyce Guthmann, Justin Guthmann and girlfriend Carley Ruffino, and Joshua Guthmann and girlfriend Brenna Munsch; Remi the grand pup and her pet cat Blu.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Effie Climent and husbands Lavon Munos and Bill Rodgers.

Funeral service was Friday, May 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas with Deacon Sandye Fletcher officiating. Visitation was from 1-2 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home.

Burial was in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus.

Pallbearers were James, Justin, and Joshua Guthmann and Ben and Greyson Munsch.

Honorary pallbearer was Joyce Guthmann.
