MEGAN RAE MANGUM

Megan Rae Mangum, 44 of Columbus died on April 24, 2023, at TLC Nursing and Rehab in Columbus, Texas. She was born on July 12, 1978, to Patricia Gordy Mangum and Mike Mangum. She had daunting challenges every day of her life but seldom let it get her down. She could light up a room with her smile and her laugh was infectious. She will be greatly missed.

Megan is survived by her mother Patricia Schindler and step-father Berdene “Dene” Foye, sister Jessica (Roy) Boudreaux of Kerrville, brother Michael “Mickey” Mangum of Columbus, nieces and nephews: Justin (Regina) Binder of Pearsall, Ryan and Hailee Binder, both of Kerrville, Micaela and Hunter Mangum of Columbus.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 9-10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. A funeral service will

follow at 10 a.m. with Deacon John Glueck officiating.

Burial will follow at Brune Cemetery in Shaw’s Bend. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow at Glidden Baptist Church Reception Hall.

Pallbearers are Justin Binder, Ryan Binder, Hunter Mangum and Roy Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers are Micaela Mangum and Hailee Binder.
