MELINDA ANN ROBLES

Melinda Ann Robles, 38, of Eagle Lake, Texas, passed away on Jan. 9, 2023, in Eagle Lake, Texas.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1984, to Hector Cavazos and Marina (Vargas) Sanchez in Galveston, Texas. On Nov. 12, 2005, she married Erik I. Robles.

Melinda was a caring woman who spent most of

her life thinking of others, which could be seen in her work as a LVN at Arbor Hills Nursing Home.

She took joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading by the beach and spending time with family and friends.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Melinda enjoyed sharing with others her hope for the future.

Melinda is survived by her husband Erik I. Robles; father Hector Cavazos; mother Marina Sanchez; daughter Priscilla Ann Robles; sons Christian I. Robles, Anthony I. Robles, and Julian I. Robles; sisters Sabrina Peña and husband Michael, Aurelia Reyes and husband Enrique, Camilia Cavazos, and Olivia Sanchez; brother Jaime J. Sanchez.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Herbert Sr. and Mary Cavazos and her maternal grandparents Jesus and Maria Inez Vargas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home.

Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Texas.

Pallbearers are Michael Peña, Enrique Reyes, Jose Luis Robles Jr., Jayson Melendez, Dominic Aguilar, Lucas Cavazos, Jacob Cavazos, and Leo Martinez.
