Lynda Christine Naumann, 33, of Houston, passed away Feb. 5 in Houston.

She was born Sept. 4, 1988 to Chester Bryan Naumann and Nina Louise (Day) Naumann in Columbus.

Lynda had an incredibly big heart and an infectious laugh. She was a loyal and dedicated friend to many.

Lynda was a graduate of Columbus High School and The Art Institute of Houston. Then, she continued to do what she loved the most; working in the service industry. She was a lead server/trainer for Tiny Boxwoods restaurant in Houston where she had many regulars who waited for “only her.”

Lynda enjoyed spending time with her mom, siblings, nieces and nephews. She especially loved getting together to play dominoes.

Lynda’s fiancé Josh Wright, Sr. of Houston; mother Nina Naumann of Brenham; sister Heather Michalsky and husband Terence of College Station; brothers Byron Oppermann of Katy, Aaron Oppermann and wife Amanda of Columbus, Kirk Naumann and wife Molly of Mesa, Arizona; as well as several nieces and nephews survive her.

She had three cats that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Chester B. Naumann; grandparents, and Uncle Wayne Naumann.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus.
