SILVIA LORENA LEDEZMA

Silvia Lorena Ledezma, 51, of Eagle Lake, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023.

Silvia was born in Mexico on May 7, 1971, the daughter of Jesus Ledezma Serna and Ninfa Treviño Garcia.

Of her nine siblings, seven girls and two boys, she was the seventh child. She attended Rice Consolidated High School and graduated in 1991.

In 2003 she married Victor Sanchez Gracia in Columbus, Texas at the Colorado County Courthouse. Together, they had two daughters: Jackelyn Nicole and Jessica Lynn.

Silvia was a devoted mother and worked hard her entire life to support her family and give them a good life. She worked for over 20 years at Whataburger in Columbus, Texas as a team leader and trainer and later as a cafeteria attendant for Rice Consolidated High School.

Family meant everything to Silvia. She loved her granddaughter Luna and couldn’t wait to spend time with her. She was Silvia’s pride and joy. Silvia also loved the beach as well as loved to dance and sing. She also loved a good bargain whether it was at Walmart or shopping at the nearest Goodwill.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica Lynn Gracia of Eagle Lake and Jackelyn Nicole Gracia and husband, Javen Ivy Jackson; granddaughter, Luna Ivy of Eagle Lake; brother, Alfonso Trevino and wife, Teresa of Rosemead, California; sister, Maria Perez and husband, Lauro of Eagle Lake; brother, Martin A. Ledezma Trevino of Austin; sisters, Alma Garcia and husband, Fernando of Katy; Magdalena Mancia of Katy; Hilda Sommerlatte of Wharton; and Erika Watson of Lubbock; extended family whom she loved as her own, Sabrina Molano and husband, Bobby, Jr. of Eagle Lake; and Shayann Llanos of Eagle Lake; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Viola Ledezma.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m. at Koenig - Belvill Funeral Home & Crematory in Ellinger, Texas with the family present at this time to receive friends. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
