Willie Mae Ann Voelkel, age 84, passed away Nov. 1 in Columbus. She was born to Willie A. Orsag and Rosie (Mugel) Orsag on Sept. 23, 1937 in Ganado. She married Clinton Joseph Voelkel on Jan. 7, 1961 in Ganado.

Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world with her late husband Clinton, entertaining, cooking, and gardening.

Ann was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and the Columbus Community Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie A. and Rosie Orsag; husband Clinton Voelkel; twin sister Rose Lee Terry and husband Robert and sister Evelyn Poncik and husband Raymond.

Ann is survived by her brother Leroy Orsag; her daughters Heather Bridges and husband Dean, Simmie Kollatschny and husband Vance; grandchildren Conor Bridges, Addison Bridges, Alexis Kollatschny and Amber Van Raalte; and great-grandchild Sydney Ramsey.

The family would like to give special thanks to Ann’s caregivers Leslie Guthrie, Wade Gibson and Theresa Leppin. This allowed Ann to spend her days in her home that she shared with her late husband for 27 years until she passed.

Graveside service was Friday, Nov. 5 at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus. Deacon John Glueck officiated. A reception followed the graveside service at The Opera House in the Buddy Rau Room.

Serving as pallbearers were Conor Bridges, Dean Bridges, Vance Kollatschny, Robert Terry, Bill Seale, Jack Greenwade, and Wade Gibson.
