Floyd Lee Weishuhn, age 74, of Frelsburg, passed away peacefully Apr. 30 in Frelsburg. He was born to Leroy and Leona (Aschenbeck) Weishuhn Sept. 8, 1947 in Columbus. Floyd met his wife, Carolyn Machinsky Weishuhn, in Frelsburg at Trinity Lutheran Church, in the spring of 1965, and they were married two years later on June 3, 1967 in Frelsburg.

Floyd worked and traveled as a hardware salesman for 20 plus years. After the years of travel he decided on another venture and opened Weishuhn Processing and then later decided to go back to his passion of being a barber, and continued with it to the day of his passing. In his free time he loved to fish and garden. Most evenings you could find him and Carolyn in their favorite spot, their back deck, enjoying a cold beverage, admiring his garden, and talking about their day.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Weishuhn; son Darren Weishuhn and wife Tracy; daughter Tara Guthmann and husband Grant; grandchildren Riley Weishuhn and his wife Caitie, Ryndee Weishuhn, all of Frelsburg, and Lynden Potter and fiancé Hunter Tesch of Columbus; great grandchild Brynlee Weishuhn of Frelsburg; and a special grand pup, Sugar Bear.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Leona Weishuhn.

Visitation was Wednesday, May 4 at Henneke Funeral Home, in Columbus, with a Celebration of Life starting at 2 p. m.
