Cardinals advance to round 2

The Columbus Cardinals traveled to Bastrop Memorial Stadium on Friday, Nov. 10, to take on the Rockdale Tigers in the first round of the 2023 UIL Playoffs.

The Cardinals wasted no time getting down to business in Friday’s game and quickly put points on the board to establish an early lead.

The Cardinals utilized all of their talent in their offense Friday night with Adam Schobel and Ty’vone Whitehead being on the front lines. Schobel completed 11 of his 12 pass attempts (92% completion) for 262 yards four touchdowns and one interception.
