Lady Cards stump Sharkettes

The Columbus Lady Cardinals spent their Friday night on the road in Palacios and slid back home before the cold and icy weather with a victory in tow.

The Lady Cards went toe-to-toe with the Sharkettes and ended up defeating them 51-35 to improve to 5-2 in their district schedule.

The Lady Cards, like their counterpart varsity boys, played opossum in the first half of the game. The Sharkettes came out firing on all cylinders and flying up and down the court and kept things close with the Lady Cards.
