Our current hours are Monday-Wednesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday-Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. If you are unable to access library services, please contact Susan Chandler at 979 732-5514.
Thank you to our patrons for wearing a mask, sanitizing hands, and keeping social distance in the Library. Why is it important? In June we had 2,057 people enter the building (an average of 94 per day) and they borrowed 2,732 items (not counting digital materials). Your vigilance has helped prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the Library.
Register for Summer Reading through July 10
You may still register for the Summer Reading Program through Fri day, July 10. The last day to record books is Tuesday, July 14. We are still planning to have the live program with Julian Franklin on Thursday, July 16 at 10:15am. Families are encouraged to wear masks. The drawing for summer reading program prizes will follow the performance. You do not have to be present to win. Prizes must be picked up by July 31.
Los Aztex performance postponed
We have decided to postpone the performance by Los Aztex until the number of cases has decreased considerably. I will keep you posted. The NML Book Discussion will also postpone the discussion of President’s of War by Michael Beschloss until August 13. Copies of Persuasion by Jane Austen will be available to check out after July 10 and if there is time, we can have a mini-discussion following President’s of War.
Thank you for your patience during this time!
I hope to see you at the library!
