The Rice Consolidated High School girls powerlifting team placed second at a recent meet. The Lady Raiders finished behind St. Joseph High in the 22-team field at the Feb. 15 meet. “St. Joe is typically strong, but he (the coach) is senior heavy right now,” Rice head coach Travis Combs said.
