We are wrapping up week two of our summer workouts and we have GREATLY enjoyed having our student-athletes back on campus. The UIL continues to update and allow for us to have the opportunities to work with the Raiders and Lady Raiders, and we appreciate the opportunity. As a reminder, all athletes must bring their own water. We recommend athletes drinking a gallon of water per day to make sure they are properly hydrated. Workouts start at 8 a.m. every day. We are also doing sport specific drills from 10:15-11:15 a.m. on Monday through Thursday. Athletes need to bring their own personal items for these days (cleats, gloves, etc).

I would personally like to thank our coaching staff who has put together a great first two weeks of workouts. I would also like to say thank you to all of our parents who are making sure these athletes are able to get here on a daily basis and work on getting better.

Please note that beginning June 22, we are moving to four days per week on the workouts. Workouts will still be from 8-10 a.m. and we will do sports specific from 10:15-11:15 a.m. We also will be closed from July 3-July 10 and also on July 20-21.

RCISD welcomes Coach Hernandez

Coach Rodney Hernandez joins the Raider coaching staff as the baseball coach and will also serve as a football assistant. He has 25 total years coaching, 16 years head coach experience.

Hernandez started several first year programs in Fort Bend ISD and also coached multiple college and MLB players.
