Saturday, Sept. 9, the A team traveled to compete in the Schulenburg Tournament.

We started out the morning playing Hallettsville and winning pretty handily in two sets. We then played a very tough LaGrange team. It was close all the way through with us edging them out in crunch time, winning game one 25-24 and game two 2521.

This got us into the championship game. We played a very strong Bellville team for the championship.

We again showed up and battled, winning in two games by scores of 25-22 and 25-20.

All the girls worked so hard and were so excited with their level of play. Zariah Sims had a great day hitting and playing the net. Olivia Noska was solid in the back row and MJ Griffin is steadily improving on her setting abilities. They are a really fun group to spend the day with and it was such a joy to watch them get their medals.
