  • Rev. Glen Schonenberg recently joined the staff of Trinity Church in the Weimar/New Bielau area.

NEW BIELAU-- Trinity Church is happy to announce that Rev. Glen Schoeneberg has joined the church as part of its ministerial team, joining Rev. Jon Siemsglusz.

Schoeneberg was born in Weimar in 1954 and is a 1972 graduate of Weimar High School. He attended Wharton Junior College and graduated from Texas State University in 1976. He received his Masters of Divinity at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1979.

He married his high school sweetheart, Dottie Beken of Weimar and they have two children and 4 grandchildren. Glen and Dottie frequently share their musical talents during our worship service.

Immediately out of seminary, he served First Congregational Church in Houston. He was then called to Burton, Texas to St. John’s United Church of Christ which he served for 35 years, prior to his retirement and move back home to Weimar. Rev. Schoeneberg and his wife Dottie have built a beautiful new home on the same property where he lived as a child.

Trinity Church would like to invite everyone to come out at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings to welcome Rev. Glen Schoeneberg as he preaches God’s word at the ‘Little White Church in the Country” at 1985 FM 155 South in Weimar.
