ENCORE LIONS GIVE TO LOCAL CHARITIES

Weimar Encore Lions Club members Patricia Burger, second from left, and Rita Herzik, far right, present Father Wayne Flagg of St. Michael Catholic Church and Rev. Susan Rang of First United Methodist Church with donations for the Salvation Army and the Ministerial Alliance Wednesday. Both Flagg and Rang both addressed the group speaking on what the organizations they represent do to combat poverty in Weimar. The Weimar Encore Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Hill Bank at noon. Guests are always welcome and encouraged.
