Gedenke! Fun Run set for Saturday

The annual Weimar Gedenke! 5K Family Fitness Fun Run/ Walk is being held in conjunction with the Weimar Gedenke! celebration on Saturday, May 11.

Registration for the race begins that morning at 7 a.m., at the Weimar Soccer Park, located on East Converse Street, just north of Parkview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The race start time is set at 8 a.m. The scenic race route travels through the Weimar Golf course, by the sand volleyball courts and softball fields, and returns back to the Weimar Soccer Park.

Late registration fee is $35 for ages 13 and over and the fee for those 12 and under is $15.

A race t-shirt, refreshments, and medals for the first, second, and third place finishers are included in the entry fee.

The age divisions include 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
