St. Anthony will have an Early Childhood Open House on March 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. Families are invited to participate in an activity, eat snacks and have the opportunity to meet St. Anthony’s 3K, 4K and Kindergarten teachers. Call 979-732-5505 to reserve a spot.
Registration dates for the 2024-2025 school year have been announced. Current St. Anthony families may register beginning Feb. 20. Active and contributing St. Anthony parishioners may register starting March 18. Registration will open to the public on April 2.
The St. Anthony basketball teams will play today, Jan. 17 against St. Rose at home beginning at 5 p.m. Teams will travel to Shiner on Jan. 22 to play St. Ludmila starting at 5 p.m.
The local KC Free Throw contest will be held this Saturday Jan. 20 for kids ages 9-14 in the St. Anthony Gym from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants will be required to bring their birth certificate to show proof of age at check in.
This year’s Gala will be held on Feb. 3 at the Southern Oaks Event Center. Tickets are $50 each and may be purchased from any St. Anthony student or the school office. Reserved tables are also available.
St. Anthony is also selling Catholic Life Insurance raffle tickets. The $5 tickets may be purchased from any student or the school office until Jan. 26.
National Catholic Schools Week 2024 is Jan. 28 through Feb. 3, and St. Anthony is preparing for a week of activities. This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community." Students will celebrate the week with an opening Mass and numerous activities all week.
