Colorado County graduates earn degrees from Sam Houston

HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston State University released the names of their 2023 Fall Graduates in a list that included several students with Colorado County origins.

Omar Garcia and Israel Salinas are from Alleyton and completed their respective Bachelor of Science degrees. Garcia received his BS in Construction Management while Salinas finished his undergrad career Cum Laude for his degree in Criminal Justice.

Columbus was represented as well at Sam Houston State’s fall graduation. Brittany Koehl finished her undergraduate career with a bachelor’s in animal science. Robert Schobel secured a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.

Weimar also had a few graduates represented at the Sam Houston graduation. Roshaud Johnson received his Master of Education in School Leadership. Kiley Williams finished with a BS in Victim Studies to complete her degree.
