Message from the FFA president

This is Audrey Potter, 2022-2023 president of the Columbus FFA Chapter, to remind you about the 80th Annual Columbus FFA Show and Sale coming up on March 3 and 4!

The Columbus FFA members have invested countless hours prepping their projects for the show. It takes more than just raising animals, planting a horticulture project or building an ag mech project. Each of our members showing at the show have participated in community service projects, sold items through our fundraisers, and helped to prepare for the show.

On behalf of all exhibiting FFA members, I would like to invite everyone to the 80th Annual Columbus FFA Show and Sale! The show will kick off Friday, March 3 with markets hogs at 9 a.m. The following day, Saturday, we start the morning at 10 a.m. with a parade through downtown Columbus.

A barbecue lunch, catered by Mikeska’s, will be provided in the high school cafeteria at 11:30 a.m., with the Sale of Champions beginning at 1 p.m. in the Ag Pavilion. Please contact any FFA member exhibiting at the show to purchase a barbecue ticket for the lunch.

I hope to see you all there for support towards our members, and especially, thank you for the continued support of the Columbus FFA, it is appreciated amongst all FFA members.
