St. Anthony Halloween a resounding success

The St. Anthony Halloween Carnival on Oct. 28 was once again a successful event.

The St. Anthony Halloween Carnival on Oct. 28 was once again a successful event.

The St. Anthony PTC, students, families, and staff all worked together to continue the tradition that has been taking place for more than 40 years.

While the games and auction items may have changed over the years, the willingness to pitch in and support St. Anthony Catholic School hasn’t changed a bit. St. Anthony extends a hearty “Thank you and God Bless You” to the community for its support.

SAS has instituted the Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S. program. It is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations.

The program provides positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Extra sets of eyes and ears enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction.

Mr. Jay Glueck and Mr. Zachary Venghaus have already graciously volunteered as WATCH D.O.G.S. on the St. Anthony campus.

Today, the St. Anthony Ambassadors will lead the 8:15 a.m. All Saints Day Mass. On Nov. 2, the St. Anthony 8th graders will attend the All Souls Day Mass at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. The weekly Children’s mass will be held Friday at 8:15 a.m.

“Actions speak louder than words. Let your words teach and your actions speak.”– St. Anthony of Padua
