Weimar High School students compete at UIL

WEIMAR – Weimar High School recently participated in the Industrial University Interscholastic League academic meet. This is the second UIL meet of the season. The school said the students are doing better as the season progresses. Students that placed are as follows: Logan Kainer (fourth place) and Huxton Kloesel (second place) tenth grade Number Sense, Ethan Stech (fourth place) eleventh grade Number Sense, Zowie Lee (third place) ninth grade Mathematics, Cheyenne Booker (sixth place) ninth grade Mathematics, Lance Tolbert (first place) ninth grade Science, Zowie Lee (second place) ninth grade Science, Huxton Kloesel (first place) tenth grade Science, Bralen Heger (fourth place) tenth grade Science, Katharina Cha loupka (fifth place) tenth grade Science, Ethan Stech (fifth place) eleventh grade Science, Kelly McAfee (sixth place) eleventh grade Science, Lauren Hinze (second place) tenth grade Calculator, Taylor Smith (fourth place) tenth grade Calculator, Lauren Hinze Calculator fifth place over all, Raelyn Brown Copy Editing second place, Kim Hinze Headline Writing fifth place, Harper Price Headline Writing sixth place, Kelly McAfee Feature Writing second place, and Chandley Tolbert Feature Writing third place.
