Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, especially for the holidays. Betty loved taking care of her flowers. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Aurora Janie Garcia and Frutoso Garcia, Sr.; brothers Joe Garcia, Jimmy Garcia, and Frutoso Garcia, Jr.; Aunt Makita Ruiz; granddaughter Jazmine Jean.

Betty is survived by her husband Herman Daughtrey, Jr. of Industry; her four children, Lynn Krueger (Bruce) of Brenham, Diana Miller (Cliff) of Weimar, Herman Daughtrey, III (Nicole) of Brenham, and Sandra McVey (Ron) of North Dakota; six grandchildren, Colton Kmiec, Desirae Mosley (Curtis), Christopher Daughtrey, Manuel Martinez, Tatum Krueger, and Tabbitha Krueger; step-grandson Clifford Miller (Sydney) of San Antonio; two great grandchildren Jazzlyn Mosley and Curtis Mosley, III; step-great grandson Hudson Miller of San Antonio; three brothers, Richard Garcia of Columbus, James Garcia (Rachel) of Columbus, and Lee Garcia of Weimar; sister Mary Fernandez of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas with Brother Dennis King officiating.
