Marvin loved his family deeply. He had a passion for cars and he loved drag racing with his brothers. Marvin enjoyed sharing stories of what he and Benny found while out riding and it was always something concerning a vehicle. Marvin is survived by his wife Marilyn Pitre; daughters Rolanda Mc-Gowan and Marvette Pitre; stepdaughter LaBrandia Waddle; son Rodric Pitre; stepson Anthony Waddle; sister Abigail Pitre; brothers Lester Pitre Jr., James Pitre, Cornell Pitre, Wendell Pitre, and Wesley Pete; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Virginia Pitre; sister Marilyn Collins; Uncle Henry Jones. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Reverend Willie Mae Williams will be officiating and soloist will be Vanessa Fenix. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Henneke Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Wesley Pete Jr., Anthony Waddle, Bennie Wilson, Rodric Pitre, Clarence Toliver, Ivory Collins, and his brothers Lester, James, Cornell, Wendell, and Wesley.
