Chris graduated from Robert E Lee High School, and went on to attend UTSA College / University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He worked as a Landman for 20 years before transitioning to owning his own business. He and Shelley ran Mosquito/Pest Authority of Eagle Lake together for 4 ½ years.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing with his grandsons and watching them at their sporting events (he was their biggest fan), fishing, spending time with his son and was always open to a game of golf. His hobbies included golf, fishing and he enjoyed taking in a movie every now and then. His favorite thing to do was play golf with his golf buddies, the course was his second home. He will be most remembered for never knowing a stranger, always playing his music as loud as he could and being the MOSQUITO MAN.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Lynn Dwayne Parker, mother Sue Burr and stepdad Orvis Burr, grandparents Robert Turner, Margie Kelso, L. D. Parker and Faye Fanning, aunts Karen Mc-Means and Joyce Penn.
Chris is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shelley Parker of Eagle Lake, Texas; sons, Dustin Parker of Nacogdoches, Texas and Lance Howard of Sealy, Texas; daughters, Megan Class and her husband, Jason, of Cat Spring, Texas and Alexandria Pierce of Eagle Lake, Texas; grandchildren, Jason (Jay) Class, Lucas Class, Tucker Pierce, Rhiott Tate and Rhoper Tate; brother, Kyle Parker of Flint, Texas; nephews, Austin Gage Parker and Garrett Kalon Parker; and great nephew Damian Parker; and Eagle Lake Golf Course family.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Chris at the Eagle Lake Golf Course on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025 at 11 a.m. Golf Attire please.
