MELISSA JO OTRADOVSKY

Melissa Jo Otradovsky, of Elm Grove, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Nov. 12, 2025. She was born to Joseph John Bilek and Martha Lee Ella (Manis) Thrailkill on July 1, 1955, in Victoria. She married Larry Wayne Otradovsky on October 26, 1985.

Melissa worked for the United States Postal Service for 26 years. Her hobbies included gardening, taking care of her cats and dogs, going to casinos and playing the lottery. She was a bowling league member and participated in local cook-offs where she placed 1st for her beans. She enjoyed spending time with

her grandkids and attending church picnics.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bilek and Martha Thrailkill, and brother, Philip Bilek.

Melissa is survived by: her husband of 40 years, Larry Otradovsky; son, Jason Wysocki of Elm Grove; daughters, Jessica Howarton and husband Harvey of Mexia, Jamie Winter and husband Dustin of Caddo Mills; step-daughter, Amy Otravdovsky of Wharton; step-sons, Larry Wayne Otradovsky, Jr. and girlfriend Amanda Evans of Wharton, Chad Otra dovsky and wife Melissa of Nada; brothers, Terry Hickman and wife Janet of Las Vegas, Nevada and Richard Hickman of California; grandchildren, Brianna, Joseph, Landon, McKinzey, Caleb, Caley, Cylie, Cale, Coby and Cooper; and great-grandchildren, Weston and Colter.

Funeral services were on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, with Stan Warfield officiating. The burial followed in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery. A visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025 at Henneke Funeral Home. A reception followed at the Nada Hall in Nada.

Serving as pallbearers were Cale Otradovsky, Coby Otradovsky, Cooper Otradovsky, Caleb Popp, Landon Otradovsky, Joseph Winter, Mike Cromean, Heliodora Cruz.
