WANDA DAVIDSON

Wanda was born in Cleveland to the late Jimmy Scott and T.W. Scott, but she grew up in Eagle Lake, where she graduated from Rice High School. She was an EMT and later an RN nurse for many years and took pride in her work and loved her patience and students. She worked for Richmond- Rosenberg public schools as a nurse and. She retired from Richmond State School.
She was always willing to help those others in need. She loved animals. Her dogs were her babies. The day she passed, her beloved dog Harley was lying next to her, giving her kisses. She asked for him daily to anyone who entered her room, and she was so worried about leaving him and how hard he would be on him.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Philip Larry Davidson and his son Philip Davidson and daughter Piper Fleming. Wanda had two children from a previous marriage to the late Charlie Bill Matcheski, Her daughter, Lisa Colgin and her late son, Keith Matcheski and sister- in-law, Colleen Scott and nephew Kevin Scott and brother-in-law Billy Stapleton. Her granddaughters, Casey Stella Colgan. Cory, Kevin Faichtinger, Crystal Jesse Lee, Cheyenne Rayburn Smith, Lauren Kalama, Lance Fleming and great grandchildren. Madison Faicht inger, Cameron Lee. Charlotte Smith and Kynoah Kalama.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patsy Stapleton, her brother Tommy Scott And her son. Keith Matcheski, her nieces Stephanie Broussard, Sharon Badeaux and Kathy Parchman.
