ANNETTE “MITZY” WARSCHAK NEUENDORFF

ANNETTE “MITZY” WARSCHAK NEUENDORFF

Annette “Mitzy” Warschak Neuendorff, 69, of Frelsburg, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, in Frelsburg, Texas. She was born on Oct. 5, 1956, in Weimar, to Delmo and Bernice (Evanicky) Warschak. Mitzy grew up in Frelsburg, lived on Zimmerscheidt Road her whole life, and attended schools in Fayetteville and Columbus, where she formed lifelong connections rooted in her closeknit community.

On April 16, 1978, she married the love of her life, her best friend Kerry Neuendorff, beginning a beautiful partnership filled with laughter, shared adventures, and unwavering support. Together they built a home centered on family. Mitzy worked briefly at Heinsohn’s Store before the arrival of their son Jason, after which she joyfully embraced her calling as a full-time mother and homemaker. She was a life-long member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a member of St. Ann’s Altar Society.

Mitzy was a genuinely good soul with a heart full of patience, love, and caring. Always motherly in spirit, she had an unwavering commitment to her family and made sure everyone around her was well-fed and felt happy and loved. She found simple, profound joy in the everyday: playing dominoes with friends and family, mowing her grass with pride, watching her favorite soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, listening to polka music that brought a smile to her face, fishing, gardening, hearing the ding of a slot machine, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones - especially her grandchildren, who called her Mimi and were the true light of her life. Her home was always open, her table always ready, and her love always abundant.

Mitzy is survived by her devoted husband, Kerry Neuendorff of Frelsburg, Texas; her son, Jason Neuendorff and wife Niki of Somerville, Texas; her daughter, Lindsay May and husband Clint of Montgomery, Texas; her cherished grandchildren, Kylie Jo Neuendorff, Corbin Neuendorff, Cooper Neuendorff, and Tate May; her brother, Ronald Warschak and wife Judy of Brenham, Texas; her sister, Jeanette Machinsky and husband Daniel of Frelsburg, Texas; her brother-in-law, Marvin Neuendorff of Bernardo, Texas; her sister- in-law, Janice Brasher and husband Charles of Huffman, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever treasure her warmth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmo and Bernice Warschak; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Dorthy Neuendorff; and brother-in-law, Alan Neuendorff.

Funeral services and burial were at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg, Texas.

Pallbearers were Koy Warschak, Richard Neuendorff, Patrick Markwardt, Taylor Brown, Dustin Machinsky, and Wyatt Orsak. Honorary pallbearers were Kylie Jo Neuendorff, Corbin Neuendorff, Cooper Neuendorff, and Tate May.

Memorials are suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1031 Church Lane, New Ulm, Texas 78950 or a charity of your choice.
