GLENN DOUGLAS TELTSCHIK
Glenn graduated from Dilly High School in 1968. He went on to attend Texas State and Draughon Business College, where he earned a business degree. He later continued his education at the University of Houston, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electronics. After completing his studies, Glenn returned to San Antonio, where he lived for many years before moving to the Houston area in the early 2000s to be closer to family.
He joined Goodwill Industries, where he became a friendly, reliable, and familiar presence in the donation center. Glenn took great pride in his work and remained with Goodwill until his retirement in 2021.
Glenn lived an active and energetic life. He loved walking, riding his bike, and playing basketball. He had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in teasing those he was close to, always bringing laughter to the people around him.
He is survived by his brother, Donald, and sister- in-law, Patricia; nephew Lonnie and his wife, Sherri; nieces Chelsea and her husband, Glen Nakayama, and Carolee and her husband, Jeff Osborne; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Teltschik; his brother, Alfred Teltschik Jr.; and his nephew, Randy Teltschik.
A private memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 21, in Dickinson, Texas.
