Walter is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Broussard Krueger; his daughter, Amanda (Raymond) Reilly; his sons, Jason Mathes and Scotty Lagrone; his granddaughters (baby girls), Hope Mathes and Evelyn Eichelberger; his grandsons, Charles Mathes, Darrell Mathes, and Austin Mathes; his sisters, Kathleen Jurecka, Dorothy (Michael) Wostarek, Irene (David) Wavra, Helen (Harry) Supak, and Clara Lopez; and his brothers, Wilbert

Krueger and Allen Krueger. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral Service was Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg.
