Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy Walla, daughter Tracy Olivarez and husband David, son Glen Walla and wife Laura.

He is also survived by grandchildren Madi Pierce and husband Shea, Rebecca Maertz and husband John,

Marcus Olivarez and wife Makenzie, Kristin Walla and fiancé Brandon Schaff, Molly Olivarez and significant other Joey Ramirez, and great-grandchild Mila Olivarez.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Eloise Walla, and sister Cindy Kovar.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 15 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. A parish prayer service and rosary will follow at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation at church will be from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus.

Pallbearers are Marcus Olivarez, Shea Pierce, John Maertz, Jon Stork, Darrell Schoeneberg, and Bruce Tesch.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
