William “Billy” Davis Moore went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 15, 2026 at the age of 49 in Columbus.

Billy was born on Nov. 26, 1976, to Elizabeth Ann Moore, who resided with her parents Thomas and Cherie Moore of Seabrook.

When Billy was a year old, his mother Elizabeth passed away. From that time forward, Billy lived with his grandparents until he married Melissa Walko. They had two children together, Elizabeth Ann and Thomas “TJ” Moore.

Billy loved to fish, hunt and cook, his specialty being barbecuing. He worked at Steak and Ale for many years as a chef.

He also loved to play pool, so much that part of his email address was “kid-9ball.”

Bil ly is survived by his grandfather Thomas Moore; children Elizabeth and TJ, and his grandchildren Avery and Cayleah Russell.

He is predeceased by his grandmother Cherie Moore of Columbus, and his mother Elizabeth Moore of Seabrook A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 4 p.m.

A gathering for family and friends will be held immediately following the church service at the home of Thomas Moore, 1011 Live Oak Street in Columbus.
