The Rock Island Full Gospel Church will be holding its annual Camp Meeting beginning on Monday night, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. It will continue Tuesday through Saturday night, Feb. 10 with daily services at 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Visiting ministers and singers from numerous states will be there to minister, sing, and fellowship. St. Paul United Methodist to hold 158th church anniversary
The St. Paul United Methodist Church at 916 Fannin St. is preparing to celebrate its 158th anniversary since becoming the first African American church in Colorado County. The celebration is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. following normal Sunday Service.
