St. Anthony Catholic School hosts early 2024 events
St. Anthony will have an Early Childhood Open House on March 5 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Families are invited to participate in an activity, eat snacks and have the opportunity to meet St. Anthony’s 3K, 4K and Kindergarten teachers. Call 979-732-5505 to reserve a spot.

St. Anthony students explore Texas history
Members of the local chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas exhibited their Pioneer Life Trunk to Ms. Kelsey Bohuslav’s 4th grade class at Saint Anthony Catholic School. Kathleen Townzen and Donna Pustejovsky from the Dilue Rose Harris chapter presented various replica items from the mid-1800s. These ‘artifacts’ would be used in everyday life, such as maps and currency, household items and toys and games. As each item was presented, students were able to handle, experiment, and enjoy. The class was excited to participate and afterward enjoyed afternoon snacks.
