HOUSTON – The Columbus Cardinals have established themselves as an offensive juggernaut early in the season as they have scored over 45 points in every game they have played so far. The rushing attack has been a big emphasis as lead running back Ty’Vone Whitehead uses his speed to impact the game and break away for huge gains. The Columbus Junior High Lady Cardinals played Tidehaven at home on Monday, Sept. 11. The seventh grade B-Team tied with Tidehaven after losing set one 17-25 and winning set two 25-21. The eighth grade B-Team won both sets, first with a 25-11 win and then by a 25-4 margin. The seventh grade A-Team team won two straight by 25-16 and 25-6.
