Colorado County Fair headliners announced

COLUMBUS--Mickey & The Motorcross and the Derek Spence George Strait Tribute Band will headline the Colorado County Fair this September.

Too, the fair is bringing back one of its more popular types of music from years past, booking Masizzo, a Tejano band for one of the Friday night acts.

Entertainment will kick off Thursday night of the fair with karaoke by Chris Wallace following the Colorado County Fair Pageant.

On Friday, the country act Mama Tried will open, followed by Masizzo and the Derek Spence George Strait Tribute Band.

On Saturday, Black Cat Choir will open, followed by Columbus native William Kyle (known to most locally as the son of local radio DJ Darrell Appelt.

Flatland Cavalry will follow, and the closeout headliner will be Mickey & the Motorcross.
