COREATHERS

Betty Louise Coreathers, 61, of Columbus, passed away Jan. 14 in San Marcos.

She was born Mar. 12, 1958 in Columbus to Herbert Coleman and Bessie Hargrove Coleman. Betty married Robert G. Coreathers in Columbus July 31, 1976 and she was the owner/operator of A Small World Daycare in Columbus.

Betty was a member of New Greater Smith Chapel Baptist Church of Columbus.

She is survived by her husband, George of Columbus; daughter Dana and her husband Julius of San Marcos; brother Clarence and his wife Eunice of Columbus; sister Barbara and her husband Robert of Columbus; sisters-in-law Ruby, Gladys, Joy and Jewel; brothers-in-law Donny, and Dan and his wife Brenda and grandsons Braxsten and Brennyn.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 18 at New Greater Smith Chapel Baptist Church in Columbus with Rev. Joseph Hargrove officiating.

Burial is in Columbus City Cemetery.
