Nancy E. Wilson Humphrey, 74, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on June 26, 2019. She was born in Dallas, Texas on February 25, 1945, and grew up in Arlington, Texas and Winnsboro, Texas.

Nancy received a degree in Theater Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She married Irving Leslie Humphrey III, M.D., on March 7, 1992. Nancy had a career with American Airlines for over 30 years as a flight attendant and later worked at Needlepoint This in Dallas, Texas where she was a master needlepoint artist.

Nancy was also an active member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas where she served as a registrar. She was a member of the Jamestown Society and the Dallas Genealogical Society.

Nancy had a passion for family genealogy, reading murder mysteries, and working on needlepoint canvases.

She was preceded in death by her father James Fort Wilson, and her mother Estella “Tedda” Wilson. Nancy is survived by her husband Irving Humphrey III, M.D., stepchildren Laurel Humphrey, M.D., and Heather Humphrey, her sister Tess Wilson Swindle, brother-in-law Gary Swindle, her nieces Paula Swindle, Carla Wiggs, and Diana Tate, and their children.
