MANCIAZ

Pearl Manciaz, 68, of Eagle Lake, passed away Feb. 15.

She was born Jan. 27, 1952 to Manuel and Margarita Martinez.

Pearl was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Obera and brother-in-law Felix Martinez and granddaughter Heather Lynn Kieborz.

She is survived by sons Ted Manciaz and his wife Zoraida, and Marty Manciaz; daughters Brenda Moreida and her husband Bruno, Peggy Johnson and her husband Roy, Jr., Mandy Alesna and her husband Joel; sisters Mary Escobar and her husband Marcus, Rose Howell and her husband Sid and Atilana Fuentes, 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 21 at Eagle Lake Funeral Home. Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 22 at Eagle Lake Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Aguilar officiating.

Burial is in La Colonia Mexicana Cemetery in El Campo.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Kieborz, III, Preston Moreida, Ernest Lemons, III, Ted Manciaz, III, Kayla Manciaz and Robert Rodriguez, II.

Honorary pallbearers were Bruno Moreida, Roy Johnson, Jr., Joel Alesna, Aaron Moreida, Tristan Maciza, Romero Moreida, Robert Paul Moreida, Jr. and Casey Martinez.
