LaCourse advances to state

COLUMBUS—Columbus will send one Cardinal to the UIL State Academic Meet in Austin next month: Richard La-Course, a senior placed second in Ready Writing at the UIL Regional Academic Meet last week.

LaCourse, the son of Richard and Rebecca LaCourse of Columbus, is an Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America Troop 312 in Columbus, and is set to graduate from CHS this May.

LaCourse has previously worked at Splashway Waterpark and Camp Ground, and currently works as a stringer for The Colorado County Citizen.
