Auction Chairman Lou Kelley and Librarian Vicki Powers are delighted to present some of the first items to be included in this year’s Silent Auction, an integral part of the Eagle Lake Friends of the Library Dinner and Auction benefitting the Eula and David Wintermann Library. On the Left is a handsome white and blue sparkly Reindeer Candlestick holding a pillar flameless LED-technology real flame effect candle. Next is a gorgeous set of 3 newly matted and framed authentic vintage and signed Margie Morrow backyard bird watercolor lithograph prints featuring warm colors in soft pastels. Who could resist the extra-large Pooh Bear who is holding his own copy of the wonderful children’s book “Winnie the Pooh”? These 3 items are just hints at the large variety of Silent Auction items that are being donated by local folks and businesses. Mark your calendars for September 24, 2022 and purchase Dinner ($12) and Raffle ($20) Tickets soon from any Friends of the Library or Library Board member. Or visit the Eula and David Wintermann Library to see the Silent Auction item display and purchase your tickets while you are there.
