A reset date of Mar. 1 has been set. DeJesus was arrested Mar. 6, 2020 on the charge of sexual assault, a second degree felony.DeJesus was booked and released the same day, after posting $50,000 bond set by Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 Francis Truchard.DeJesus worked previously as a police officer with the Eagle Lake Police Department, and also served as a pastor at a Columbus church.

The Best of Show for Elementary went to Eagle Lake Primary School kindergartener Mia Hernandez with her artwork, “Raccoon Sheriff”. The Junior Best of Show winner went to eighth-grader, Gus Peacock with his charcoal drawing, “The Old Man”. Senior Best of Show was awarded to senior Kristen Carey, with her colored pencil piece, “Mom’s Inspiration”. All winning artwork will be on display in the Hayloft Gallery on the first floor of the NRG Center for the duration of the 2022 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
