After putting up a big offensive game against Palacios on March 23, the Cards traveled to Hallettsville on March 26 for a much closer game against the Brahmas. Despite putting up a good fight, the Cards suffered the loss against Hallettsville and left the week with a 1-1 record.

The Lady Cards started their week with a double-digit, shutout win against Palacios before suffering a double-digit, shutout loss to Hallettsville later in the week. The final scores were one run off from being identical as well, making their week a statistical rarity.

For each school, the girls’ team and the boys’ team matched placements as both Columbus teams finished in fourth place, and both Weimar teams finished in eighth place.
